Pulling the Old Guy

Dear Jan & Brent,
There is something rotten in Denmark, or I guess that should be in Tierra Obscura. Tia Nancy told me that you are having lots of fun at a place called Six Flags. Me?  I am stuck here at the house doing my job as fearless protector of all things in the night, and I get to have no fun at all! Grrrrrr.

Tio Norm tried to tell me that playing "Pull the old guy" with him in the hammock is almost as much fun as Six Flags....but, I think he is pulling my leg. Please hurry home. I miss you.

12 Days of Christmas

Dear Jan & Brent,

I hope you are feeling better. Nancy told me about your colds. I am sorry, but maybe this will teach you not to go away and leave me for so long!  I miss you.  Maybe next year you will just stay here in paradise and not go away and get sick?  I would like that.

Tia Nancy & Tio Norm are nice, but they are not as nice as you.  Just this morning Tia Nancy told me that they have many parties to attend this week for Christmas - six, in fact!  She said it is part of the 12 days of Christmas celebration.

So, I  will sit here this morning and wear my mad face. Maybe it will teach these people they should not be going off and leaving me home all alone six times! 12 days of Christmas?  I say HUM-BUG!

DOGA YOGA

Dear Jan & Brent,
I hope you have having a good time and that there is none of that white stuff on the ground I heard Tia Nancy and Tio Norm talking about....SNOW?!  There is no snow here in Darkland, but, of course, there has been rain nearly every day.

"So I think I'll show Tia Nancy she is not the only one who starts her day with Yoga.  Just look at me!  This is my perfect Cobblers Poise.  I am such a smart doggie. tomorrow I will work on the Proud Warrior.

Guy Time

So, yesterday Tia Nancy went to Bocas town with her friend, Mary,  and left me home with Tio Norm. I didn't mind though. We had a good time together playing with my toys and just sitting on the porch watching the birds fly past, but, the best part of the day was when Tia Nancy came home. She gave me THREE treats!  I guess she felt guilty for leaving me. Tio Norm got a chocolate bar. We boys SCORED!

Good Byes Make My Throat Hurt

Dear Jan & Brent,

When I saw you take all those suitcases down to the dock I knew you wouldn't be coming back for a long time. I'm just going to sit on the porch and watch for you to come back. I hate Good-Byes. They make my throat hurt.

Tonight  I barked and barked. Tia Nancy came outside with her little light. She talked to me; she scratched my chest; she promised me that you will come home soon. Then she shined her little light all around the yard to try to see what I was barking about, but, there was nothing there. I was just barking......because I miss you. Barking for a long, long time makes my throat hurt too.

 Please hurry home before I run out of bark.

Yah, that's me -- Turbo. I'm just going to sit here and wait for those new people to arrive. They won't be here for a couple more days, but that lady - I think I heard her name is Nancy - has been making so much noise of Facebook that I think I better stay on HIGH ALERT.  Oh those silly gringos!
